Cookie Policy

Last Updated: 14 May 2025

This Cookie Policy explains how Mindforge uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at https://mindforgesiasd.world. We have tried to write this in plain language — no unnecessary legal complexity, just a clear explanation of what we do and what choices you have.

What Are Cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website places in your browser when you visit. The file is stored on your device and can be read back on future visits to the same site. Cookies are not programs — they cannot run code or carry viruses.

Websites use cookies for a range of purposes: keeping you signed in, remembering your preferences, understanding how visitors use the site, and serving relevant content. Some cookies are placed directly by the website you visit (first-party cookies); others are set by third-party services embedded in the page.

You can control, limit, or delete cookies through your browser settings. The browser guide section further down this page explains how to do this in the most common browsers.

Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Always active — cannot be disabled

These cookies are required for the website to function. Without them, core features such as the contact form and cookie consent banner would not work correctly. Because they are strictly necessary, they cannot be switched off from this page.

Example: cookieConsent — stores your cookie preference choices (localStorage, persistent)

Analytics Cookies

Optional

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors find and use the website. The data is aggregated and anonymous — we see things like which pages are visited most often, but not who visited them. We use this to improve the site over time.

Service: Google Analytics (GA4) — session behaviour, page views

Duration: Up to 2 years (persistent)

Marketing Cookies

Optional

Marketing cookies are used to show relevant course advertisements on third-party platforms such as Google and Meta. They track whether a visitor came to our site from an ad and, if consent is given, can be used to show related ads on other websites.

Services: Google Ads, Meta Pixel

Duration: Up to 90 days (persistent)

Preference Cookies

Optional

Preference cookies remember settings you have chosen — such as your language or region — so you do not need to set them again on each visit. If you disable these, some site elements may default to their standard settings on each visit.

Example: lang — stores selected display language

Duration: Up to 1 year (persistent)

Your Cookie Preferences

Use the toggles above to set your preferences, then click Save. Your choices are stored in your browser and will apply to future visits. You can return to this page at any time to review or change them.

Third-Party Services

The following third-party services may set cookies when you use our website, subject to your consent choices above:

  • Google Analytics — page and session analytics (analytics consent required)
  • Google Ads — conversion tracking for course enquiry campaigns (marketing consent required)
  • Meta Pixel — campaign performance tracking on Meta platforms (marketing consent required)
  • Bing UET — Microsoft Advertising conversion tracking (marketing consent required)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how data collected through their cookies is handled. We recommend reviewing their policies if you have questions about their data practices.

Cookie Duration

Session cookies exist only for the duration of your current browser session. They are deleted automatically when you close the browser tab or window. They are typically used for temporary site functionality.

Persistent cookies remain on your device after the browser is closed, until either their set expiry date is reached or you delete them manually. Typical durations range from a few days to two years depending on the cookie's purpose.

The specific durations for each cookie we use are noted in the cookie descriptions above.
