Why Mindforge

What Makes the Difference

We designed each course around the kind of learning that actually sticks — structured practice, small cohorts, and feedback that comes from engineers, not automated graders.

Practice-First Structure

Short lectures exist to frame the work, not replace it. Every week ends with a notebook or a task you build yourself.

Small Cohorts

Cohorts are kept deliberately small so that live sessions have space for actual questions and the instructor can follow individual progress.

Engineering-Grade Feedback

Notebooks and projects are reviewed by instructors with industry backgrounds, not algorithmic scoring systems.

Designed for Working Adults

Sessions are scheduled around employment hours. Recorded lectures mean you control the study pace; live sessions are structured around evening and weekend blocks.

Locally Rooted in Sabah

Run from Kota Kinabalu with a local support team. Time zones, public holidays, and communication all work in Malaysian context.

You Own Your Work

All notebooks, projects, and capstone outputs are yours. We do not claim any intellectual property from the work you produce during the programme.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked

Do I need prior AI or machine learning experience to enrol?

For the Hands-On Machine Learning course, a basic Python background is sufficient — no previous ML experience is required. For the Applied AI Engineering Block, intermediate Python and some prior exposure to model training are expected. The Forge Capstone Programme is for learners who have completed an intermediate block or have equivalent professional experience.

How much time should I set aside each week?

Plan for roughly six to eight hours per week across all courses. This includes the recorded lecture (typically one to two hours), the live session (two hours), and the hands-on practice notebook or project work for the remainder. The Capstone Programme may require slightly more during milestone weeks.

Are the sessions held online or in person?

Recorded lectures are delivered online. Live coding sessions are held online via a video platform. The Capstone closing session and certain milestone reviews may be offered in person at our Kota Kinabalu studio for participants who are local — remote participation is always available.

What is the course fee, and are there payment options?

The Hands-On Machine Learning course is RM 510. The Applied AI Engineering Block is RM 1,520. The Forge Capstone Programme is RM 2,960. We can discuss instalment arrangements for the longer programmes — reach out via the enquiry form and we'll work through the details with you.

What do I receive when I complete a course?

A course completion record is provided on submission of all practice notebooks for the Machine Learning course. For the Engineering Block and Capstone Programme, completion is recognised on successful submission and review of the final project. All outputs — notebooks, projects, and capstone work — belong to you.

How is my personal information handled?
